Privacy policy

This policy describes what Calcledge does with information. It is written for the site as it works today.

What the calculators store

Calculator inputs stay in the page address when you submit the form, so you can share or bookmark a run. The server renders the result and does not write those inputs to a database. Browser storage is not used for results.

Contact form

If you send the form, we receive your name, email address, and message by email at hello@calcledge.com. We keep that email as long as we need it to reply or to document a correction, and then it can be deleted. Write to that same address and ask for the message to be removed. We will delete the email we still have.

Cookies

Calcledge does not set a marketing cookie of its own. Django may set a CSRF cookie when you open the contact form, so the form can be submitted safely. That cookie is not used to build an advertising profile.

Analytics

No analytics script is installed. If one is added later, this policy will name it before it runs.

Advertising

Ad slots exist on the pages, but they are empty unless advertising is switched on after approval. When ads are on, a third party such as Google AdSense may set cookies, read a cookie identifier, and use that to measure or personalize ads. Those companies' own policies describe their retention. You can opt out of personalized ads through the provider's controls, such as Google's ad settings. Calcledge does not sell a list of names or email addresses.
